                       JAYALAKSHMI,whom  hereafter I shall call by the name J was the grand daughter of     Venkatarama Ganapadgal, a close friend and  adviser of  K T V.     who lived in the opposite row in close quarters in Big street  Kalakad J died a few days back ,which prompted me to write this  memoir about her.'As a small girl of the street ,in her briskness and bright face with broad smile ,and addead tone she used to attract the attention of one and all at least in our area.
